I’m Osaze Omokaro, founder of Welcome Home, and my journey here is personal. Born in Canada and raised across West Africa, North America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, I’ve moved more times than I can count. I know firsthand that moving is more than just logistics—it’s an emotional transition.
As an interior decorator and professional organizer of over a decade, I’ve always believed that a home should be a reflection of who you are—or who you’re becoming. But after experiencing a difficult divorce, I realized how overwhelming it is to rebuild—not just a space, but a life. That’s when it hit me: moving isn’t just about boxes and furniture. It’s about feeling at home again.
That’s why I started Welcome Home—a design-led moving service that takes the stress out of transitions. My team and I handle everything—decluttering, packing, move logistics, and home setup—so that when you walk in, you’re not just in a new house. You’re home.
